Exploring the Venice Lagoon
As part of Venice to Expo 2015, this important event has engaged the authorities of the Steering Committee of the “Venice and its Lagoon” UNESCO Site in a project aimed at communicating and promoting places and values of the “Venice and its Lagoon” World Heritage Site. It is a cutting-edge interactive multimedia space: a multimedia, multisensory, and experiential space to discover places and values of the “Venice and its Lagoon” UNESCO Site. Through four different thematic sections, visitors will be able to trace the historical waterways linking Venice to the lagoon hinterland, virtually exploring the whole area of the UNESCO Site: Campagna Lupia, Cavallino Treporti, Chioggia, Codevigo, Jesolo, Mira, Musile di Piave, Quarto d’Altino, and Venice.
