Let’s go! Venice defends itself

31st of March 2016 Arsenal of Venice – Tesa 105

With great enthusiasm the students of the Institute Vivarini of Murano participated at the first edition of "Venice defends itself. The fortified system of the Venice lagoon as UNESCO World Heritage”. The activity was proposed by the Office of the World Heritage Site “Venice and its Lagoon" in collaboration with the Arsenal Office and the Department for Educational Policies of the City of Venice. The proposal aims to inform students about the importance of belonging to the World Heritage Site "Venice and its Lagoon", through a path that describe the defensive system of the Venetian Republic between the fifteenth and seventeenth century.
