The event organised at the UNESCO Regional Bureau for Science and Culture in Europe, Venice (Italy), will convey in a single venue a substantial capital of knowledge developed in World Heritage sites in Europe about sustainability, in terms of education, management and scientific knowledge to be shared and applied regionally and globally.

Tuesday, December 15th at 9:00 am the arch. Katia Basili illustrates the process of co-management of the UNESCO Site "Venice and its Lagoon" and the contents of the Management Plan developed with the support of the Steering Committee of the property. It will also be an opportunity to make a reflection shared with the experts in the Winter School on how to integrate the management plan with themes and projects involving the energy efficiency of architectural heritage in an area so delicate and exceptional as the UNESCO Site "Venice and its Lagoon".
